As a value-added alternative, March Networks provides an industry-first - it allows customers or partners to leverage the expertise and skilled resources of our own 7/24 Network Operations Center to monitor the health and operation of their DVR networks.
Using the IP network and intelligent hardware and software monitoring, diagnostic and trouble shooting utilities, these centralized specialists can access any number of customer DVRs, anywhere. They can analyze the performance, health and operation of the cameras, DVRs and video network infrastructure. They can spot potential issues, recommend preventative or corrective actions, and help ensure the performance of all parts of the overall system is always up to customer expectations.
On-site interaction remains the domain of the local reseller. And all parties benefit. For a nominal fee, video system and network maintenance is more proactive. The frequency, disruption and cost of on-site service calls are all reduced, for everyone. And the responsibility (and internal resources needed) to monitor these systems falls to the people who made them in the first place. This is a win-win-win situation in many cases.
